Active Oscillations of Elastic Membranes Arising from the Coupling with a Catalytic Reaction
Coupling an elastic membrane to a catalytic reaction produces active oscillations that self‐sustain for hours: the membrane cyclically inflates and deflates as the reaction spontaneously activates and deactivates, without external power. Energy release is directly embodied in the oscillation dynamics, opening elasto‐chemical strategies for the physical

Self‐Responsive Plastron Maintenance on a Superhydrophobic Mesh via Locally Integrated Electrolysis
This work presents a self‐switchable SHM‐E surface that enables rapid, autonomous plastron self‐repair and long‐term stability. Plastron loss triggers circuit closure and localized electrolysis, while capillary spreading rapidly restores a continuous plastron and self‐terminates the current.

A Two‐Stage Characterization Pipeline and Open‐Source Framework for Reproducible Tactile Sensing
The same soft tactile sensor returns different numbers when embodied in different robots. This is an Embodiment Gap that no shared framework currently captures transparently. A two‐stage characterization pipeline, paired with a FAIR open‐source digital datasheet, decouples intrinsic sensor behavior from embodiment effects and condenses cross‐laboratory
