Optimal Content Caching based on Content Popularity for Content Delivery Networks
Asia Communications and Photonics Conference 2015, 2015We consider optimal content caching based on their popularity so as to minimize the content delivery latency. We develop an Integer Linear Programming (ILP) optimization model and a heuristic algorithm to choose cached contents at each local server.

Caching algorithm for content-oriented networks using prediction of popularity of contents
2015 IFIP/IEEE International Symposium on Integrated Network Management (IM), 2015It is important to use cache efficiently for the content deployment in the aspect of reducing load of server and latency, especially in content-oriented networks such as ICN (Information Centric Networking). Since the capacity of cache on each network node is limited, numbers of cache replacement algorithm have been proposed.

On the Relationship between Novelty and Popularity of User-Generated Content
ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology, 2010This work deals with the task of predicting the popularity of user-generated content. We demonstrate how the novelty of newly published content plays an important role in affecting its popularity. More specifically, we study three dimensions of novelty.
