Abstract Purpose Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) offers benefits over total knee arthroplasty (TKA), but some studies indicated higher revision rates, often involving conversion to TKA. The infection risk associated with UKA to TKA conversion compared to primary TKA is not definitively established.

A phase‐change magneto‐optical metagrating combines GST switching with InAs guided‐mode resonances to achieve strong nonreciprocal absorption contrast near normal incidence. A static magnetic bias creates direction‐dependent resonant splitting, while GST crystallization quenches and latches the response.

Imaging-Based Clinical Management of Mandibular Canal Variants: PR–CBCT–Selective MRI
Background: Mandibular canal (MC) variants are common and clinically relevant for anesthesia, implant placement, third-molar surgery, and osteotomies. Reported prevalences vary widely because they depend on imaging modality, acquisition parameters, and ...

ABSTRACT Through technological advances in winemaking, New World wine‐producing countries have achieved wines of comparable or superior quality relative to traditional European producers. Nevertheless, the symbolic value associated with European wines may still outweigh that of domestic products, particularly in countries where historical sociocultural

Generalized trade-off directions in multiobjective optimization problems [PDF]
In this brief paper, we define the generalized trade-off directions for a multiobjective optimization problem (MP), by using the contingent cone, and characterize the set of generalized trade-off directions for the problem (MP), by using the sensitivity ...

We used recently detected P450 DNA‐based markers of pyrethroid resistance in both Anopheles funestus and Anopheles gambiae to demonstrate that although pyrethroid‐resistant mosquitoes have higher ability to survive and live longer after exposure to Royal Guard, this net significantly affects their lifespan, blood feeding ability and interestingly ...

Near‐resonant excitation of the Adriatic barotropic modes: The seiche events of December 2019
This study examines severe flooding in the northern Adriatic Sea in December 2019, which existing forecasting systems failed to predict. Analysis of wind and sea‐level data, alongside reanalysis datasets and a high‐resolution hydrodynamic model, revealed a wind‐induced resonance mechanism.

On utility-based super-replication prices of contingent claims with unbounded payoffs [PDF]
Consider a financial market in which an agent trades with utility-induced restrictions on wealth. For a utility function which satisfies the condition of reasonable asymptotic elasticity at $-\infty$ we prove that the utility-based super-replication ...

Differential properties and optimality conditions for generalized weak vector variational inequalities [PDF]
In this paper, we study a generalized weak vector variational inequality, which is a generalization of a weak vector variational inequality and a Minty weak vector variational inequality.

A Metafrontier Analysis of Technical Efficiency of Selected European Agricultures [PDF]
Technical efficiency refers to the situation where it is impossible for a firm to produce, with the given know-how, (1) a larger output from the same inputs or (2) the same output with less of one or more inputs without increasing the amount of other ...
