ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

A CONTINUED FRACTION TITBIT [PDF]
In 1812 Gauss, in a letter to Laplace, proposed without proof a formula explaining the statistical regularity of continued fractions. There has since been speculation concerning the manner in which Gauss arrived at this formula. In this article we present a plausible explanation, which at the same time gives an elementary proof of the full ergodic ...

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Continued Fractions and Catalan Problems [PDF]
We find a generating function expressed as a continued fraction that enumerates ordered trees by the number of vertices at different levels. Several Catalan problems are mapped to an ordered-tree problem and their generating functions also expressed as a continued fraction.

Semi-Regular Continued Fractions with Fast-Growing Partial Quotients
In number theory, continued fractions are essential tools because they provide distinct representations of real numbers and provide information about their characteristics. Regular continued fractions have been examined in great detail, but less research

Exponential and Continued Fractions
In this nice paper the author studies the continued fraction expansion of the analogues of \({{ae^{2/n}+b} \over {ce^{2/n}+d}}\) in function fields: as usual \(\mathbb{Z}\) is replaced by \(\mathbb{F}_q[x]\), where \(\mathbb{F}_q\) is the field with \(q\) elements, \(\mathbb{Q}\) is replaced by \(\mathbb{F}_q(x)\) and \(\mathbb{R}\) by \(\mathbb{F}_q ...

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...
