Results on finite time and practical stability of continuous time delay [PDF]
This paper gives sufficient conditions for the attractive practical and finite time stability of linear continuous time delay systems of the form x(t) = A0x(t) + A1x(t-τ).

Nonindependent continuous-time random walks [PDF]
The usual development of the continuous time random walk (CTRW) assumes that jumps and time intervals are a two-dimensional set of independent and identically distributed random variables. In this paper we address the theoretical setting of non-independent CTRW's where consecutive jumps and/or time intervals are correlated.

Robust stability of a class of uncertain fractional order linear systems with pure delay
The paper considers the robust stability problem of uncertain continuous-time fractional order linear systems with pure delay in the following two cases: a) the state matrix is a linear convex combination of two known constant matrices, b) the state ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

It is well known that continuous-time Delta-Sigma modulators are very sensitive to clock jitter effects. In literature, a number of techniques have been proposed to cope with them.

Visual Continuous Time Preferences
We introduce the Visual Continuous Time Preferences (VCTP) task, a new tool for measuring time preferences that synthesizes the simplicity of Multiple Price List (MPL) and the precision of Convex Time Budget (CTB) tasks thanks to the use of a simple visualization.

ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

Subjective time compression induced by continuous action
Increasing evidence indicates that voluntary actions can modulate the subjective time experience of its outcomes to optimize dynamic interaction with the external environment.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...
