Many parameter Hoelder perturbation of unbounded operators
If $u\mapsto A(u)$ is a $C^{0,\alpha}$-mapping, for $0< \alpha \le 1$, having as values unbounded self-adjoint operators with compact resolvents and common domain of definition, parametrized by $u$ in an (even infinite dimensional) space, then any ...

ABSTRACT This paper develops a mathematical framework for interpreting observations of solar inertial waves in an idealized setting. Under the assumption of purely toroidal linear waves on the sphere, the stream function of the flow satisfies a fourth‐order scalar equation.

Neural network with signal parameters featuring for near‐surface velocity model building
Abstract This study presents a method that integrates spectral recomposition (SR) with a neural network to improve near‐surface seismic analysis. The approach incorporates SR‐derived wavelet‐timing attributes into a fully convolutional network (FCN) to enhance the characterization of shallow subsurface structures. Field evaluation was conducted using S‐

Double adjoints of Hammerstein functionals defined on continuous functions [PDF]
One of the main reasons for studying Hammerstein operators is their possible application to the analytic study of nonlinear differential equations. In fact, the kernel ϕ used to represent such operators has properties similar to ones that insure the existence of solutions to equations of the form\(\dot x\)(t)=ϕ(x(t), t) or\(\dot x\)(t)= ϕ(x(t)).

Quasi-spectral decomposition of the heat potential
In this article, by multiplying of the unitary operator $$ (Pf)(x,t)=f(x,T-t),\quad 0\leq t\leq T, $$ the heat potential turns into a self-adjoint operator.

A pilot variational coupled reanalysis based on the CESAM climate model
Variational data assimilation of in‐situ and satellite ocean data and reanalysis atmospheric data into an intermediate complexity Earth system model is possible by adjusting the surface fluxes and internal model parameters. This pilot application requires nearly complete information on the atmospheric state for synchronization.

SU(3) Gauge Theory with Adjoint Fermions
We analyze the finite temperature phase diagram of QCD with fermions in the adjoint representation. The simulations performed with four dynamical Majorana fermions, which is equivalent to two Dirac fermions, show that the deconfinement and chiral phase ...

Though many studies have shown potential benefit in assimilating all‐sky infrared radiances from geostationary satellites, at numerical weather prediction centres it is still common practice to assimilate clear‐sky radiances. We present the operationalization of the all‐sky assimilation of the spinning enhanced visible and infrared imager (SEVIRI ...

Continuous Adjoint to Proudman's Formula for Aeroacoustic Shape Optimization
ABSTRACTThis paper presents an approach for aeroacoustic optimization through the reduction of acoustic sources, based on the integration of Proudman's formula into a continuous adjoint framework coupled with the Reynolds‐averaged Navier–Stokes equations, for the first‐time. The development includes the adjoint to the turbulence model.
