Contourlet transform based human object tracking

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
Human object tracking is a challenging problem in video processing applications, and is an important step toward development of surveillance system. In this paper, we have proposed a new method for tracking of a human object in video sequence which is based on Contourlet transform.

Iris Recognition Using the Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform

International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, 2015
Biometric information is widely used in user identification system. Because of the unique and invariant properties of the iris through a lifetime, iris recognition is one of the most stable and reliable means in biometric identification. Extracting distinguishable iris features for iris recognition is very important.

A New Contourlet Transform With Adaptive Directional Partitioning

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2017
A new image sparse representation tool—adaptive contourlet transform (ACT) is introduced in this letter. Adaptive directional partitioning schemes in ACT can match the arbitrary orientation distribution of natural image, which brings sparser representation.

An improved multimodal medical image fusion scheme based on hybrid combination of nonsubsampled contourlet transform and stationary wavelet transform

International journal of imaging systems and technology (Print), 2019
This research proposes an improved hybrid fusion scheme for non‐subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) and stationary wavelet transform (SWT). Initially, the source images are decomposed into different sub‐bands using NSCT.

Coefficient difference based watermark detector in nonsubsampled contourlet transform domain

Information Sciences, 2019
Imperceptibility and robustness are two main requirements of any image watermarking systems to guarantee desired functionalities, but there is a tradeoff between them from the information–theoretic perspective.

Traffic Video Surveillance Using Contourlet Transform

2015 7th International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Technology (ICETET), 2015
This paper proposes an innovative idea for segmenting a video sequence including vigorous textures in transform domain. The advanced mode is based on the contourlet transform. This transform method agreed to re-evaluate spatiotemporal structures for a given level and inclination.

Script Identification Based on Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform

2017 14th IAPR International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR), 2017
With the development of globalization, script identification has become a active field in the document image processing. However, many methods only have good recognition effect on the scripts of particular countries and areas, and cannot be applied to all scripts. Especially for Central Asia, there are few such research.

CoT: Contourlet Transformer for Hierarchical Semantic Segmentation

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems
The Transformer-convolutional neural network (CNN) hybrid learning approach is gaining traction for balancing deep and shallow image features for hierarchical semantic segmentation. However, they are still confronted with a contradiction between comprehensive semantic understanding and meticulous detail extraction.

Watermark performance contrast between contourlet and non-subsampled contourlet transform

2012 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation, 2012
The performance between the watermark scheme using contourlet tranform and that using non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) is compared by a conventional watermark algorithm in this paper, which is rarely mentioned in existing literatures. The transparency analyses with subjective and objective evaluation indicators are performed on watermark ...

Fast Algorithm for Nonsubsampled Contourlet Transform

Acta Automatica Sinica, 2014
Abstract The multiscale geometric analysis (MGA) has been recognized as an effective strategy for image processing. As one of the discrete tools of MGA, the nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT) has been widely used for image denoising, image fusion, image enhancement, feature extraction and so on.
