Abstract Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I inhibitor, is available as both non‐pegylated and pegylated formulations. The non‐pegylated formulation is licensed for use in advanced colorectal cancer either in combination with other agents or as monotherapy.

Poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) microsphere loaded dissolving microneedles for sustained and coordinated transdermal delivery of desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol

Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society, EarlyView.
PLGA‐based sustained‐release microneedles were developed for the delivery of desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol. The system enabled coordinated release of both drugs, suggesting its potential to improve dosing convenience as a long‐acting contraceptive platform.

A soft‐compliant hydrogel cuff coating combines real‐time pressure monitoring with intrinsic antibacterial activity for prophylaxis of ventilator‐associated pneumonia. A flexible pressure‐sensing patch is embedded in the coating to enable wireless dynamic monitoring of endotracheal cuff pressure through Bluetooth.
