Advancing precision oncology through systematic germline and tumor genetic analysis: The oncogenetic point of view on findings from a prospective multicenter clinical trial of 666 patients

open access: yesCancer Medicine, 2023
Introduction With the emergence of targeted therapies, there is a need to accurately identify more tumor biomarkers. The EXOMA trial was designed to offer tumor and germline exome sequencing (ES) to patients with solid malignant tumors and facing ...

Antagonisation of Prokineticin Receptor-2 Attenuates Preeclampsia Symptoms. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Cell Mol Med
ABSTRACT Preeclampsia (PE) is the most threatening pathology of human pregnancy. Placenta from PE patients releases harmful factors that contribute to the exacerbation of the disease. Among these factors is the prokineticin1 (PROK1) and its receptor, PROKR2 that we identified as a mediators of PE.

The Sunrise of Tertiary Lymphoid Structures in Cancer. [PDF]

open access: yesImmunol Rev
ABSTRACT First considered as a negative epiphenomenon in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with possible deleterious consequences through the production of pathological autoantibodies and antiself T cells, tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) have gained major scientific and clinical interest in cancer due to their association with better clinical ...

Intrinsic cancer cell phosphoinositide 3‐kinase δ regulates fibrosis and vascular development in cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesLiver International, Volume 43, Issue 12, Page 2776-2793, December 2023., 2023
Abstract Background & Aims The class I‐ phosphatidylinositol‐3 kinases (PI3Ks) signalling is dysregulated in almost all human cancers whereas the isoform‐specific roles remain poorly investigated. We reported that the isoform δ (PI3Kδ) regulated epithelial cell polarity and plasticity and recent developments have heightened its role in hepatocellular ...

Ebselen oxide and derivatives are new allosteric HER2 inhibitors for HER2‐positive cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 17, Issue 10, Page 1981-1999, October 2023., 2023
The tyrosine kinase receptor HER2 is a major oncogene in multiple cancers. We identified ebselen oxide as a new allosteric inhibitor of HER2. Ebselen oxide maintains HER2 in a catalytically repressed state by targeting the ezrin/radixin/moesin (ERM)‐binding motif in the juxtamembrane region of HER2.

Immunoglobulin E‐specific allergens against leaf in serum of dogs with clinical features of grass leaf allergy

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 393-403, October 2023., 2023
Background – Grass leaf has been suspected to cause immunoglobulin (Ig)E‐mediated immediate hypersensitivity reactions both in humans and in dogs. However, most studies in this area are case control studies without in vitro data showing the involvement of IgE in the reaction.

Information about Climate Change Mitigation: What Do Farmers Think? Informations sur l'atténuation du changement climatique : qu'en pensent les agriculteurs? Informationen zum Klimaschutz: Was denken die Landwirtinnen und Landwirte?

open access: yesEuroChoices, Volume 22, Issue 1, Page 74-80, April 2023., 2023
Summary The adoption of new practices by farmers is one of the key strategies to lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from food production. In this context, effective knowledge transfer systems are essential to inform farmers about climate change, and to convince them of the benefits of new technologies. In this article, farmers’ opinions about climate
