Steady-state behavior of nonparametric control charts using sign statistic

open access: yesProduction, 2015
If process is running for a long period in an in-control condition, it will reach in a steady-state condition. In order to study the long term properties of a control chart, it is appropriate to investigate the steady-state average time to signal.

Control of control charts

open access: yes, 2022
Although the Shewhart chart is widely used in practice because of its simplicity, applying this control chart to monitor the mean of a process may lead to two types of problems. The first concerns the typically unknown parameters involved in the distribution, while the second concerns the validity of the assumption of normality itself. The objective of

Control Chart Interpretation Using Fuzzy ARTMAP

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences, 2004
Fuzzy ARTMAP is a newly introduced artificial neural network architecture that incorporates fuzzy logic into its dynamics. In this paper, fuzzy ARTMAP is used to: i) decide whether a production process is under statistical control or out of control and ...

Comparing the performance of Kernel PCA Mix Chart with PCA Mix Chart for monitoring mixed quality characteristics

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Along with the development of information and technology, the quality characteristics of a product cannot be monitored separately in the different types of control charts.

Reinforcement Learning-Based Real-Time Contrasts Control Chart Using an Adaptive Window Size

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this study, we propose a real-time contrasts control chart based on reinforcement learning (RL-RTC). Effective process monitoring, which directly influences productivity and yield, has become increasingly important.

Control Chart for Variance Using Repetitive Sampling Under Neutrosophic Statistical Interval System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, a control chart for variance using the repetitive sampling under the neutrosophic statistics is proposed. The proposed control chart can be applied for monitoring the variability in the process when some observations/parameters are unclear

Cell geometry and membrane protein crowding constrain Escherichia coli growth rate, overflow metabolism, respiration, and maintenance energy

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

PEMODELAN GRAFIK PENGENDALI TOTAL DAN RATAAN DISKRIT UNTUK GENERALISASI DISTRIBUSI GEOMETRIK

open access: yesMedia Statistika, 2016
Total events which do by counting will be obtained discret data type. The discret data type and geometric distribution could be drawn by total number of events chart (G chart) and average number of event chart (H chart).

Penerapan Peta Kendali Neutrosophic Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (NEWMA) X dalam Monitoring Rata-Rata Proses Ketebalan Kaca

open access: yesJambura Journal of Mathematics, 2022
In the industrial sector, the measurement results of a quality characteristic often involve an uncertainty interval (interval indeterminacy). This causes the classical control chart to be less suitable for monitoring quality.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.
