Field weakening control of a PM vehicle drive
This paper develops a new field weakening method for an integrated permanent magnet synchronous machine vehicle drive. This method adopts both the DC-link and the rotor speed as a feedback signals to generate the demagnetising current reference.

Having a method for analyzing and designing regulators of controls that contain many current loops such as active filters is not a trivial task. There can be many parameters of regulators and filters that must be carefully selected in order to fulfill ...

Controller Design of an Airship
Airships offer unique operational advantages due to their ability to generate lift via buoyancy, enabling low-speed flight and stationary hovering. These capabilities make them ideal for missions requiring endurance and precision positioning. However, they also present significant control challenges: their large, lightweight structures are highly ...

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

An independent metering (IM) system is a promising alternative to the conventional loadsensing (LS) system. However, the common meter-in control method has impeded further improvement in energy efficiency and investment costs. This paper presents a novel

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Average Consensus of Multi-Agent Systems Under Directed Topologies and Binary-Valued Communications
This paper is concerned with the average consensus problem of multi-agent systems with binary-valued communications under directed topologies. The information that each agent communicates with others is binary-valued with a fixed threshold and the ...

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
