Stability analysis and stabilizing control synthesis via Lyapunov's second method directly on bond graphs of nonlinear systems [PDF]

open access: closedProceedings of IECON '93 - 19th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2002
In this paper a set of energy-based methods for the computation of equilibria, the analysis of their stability, and the synthesis of stabilizing control laws are presented. All of them are a transliteration to the bond graph modelling language of methods usually carried out on the state equations of the system.

Power System Stability as Affected by Automatic Control of Generators-Some Methods of Analysis and Synthesis

open access: closedIEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1971
This paper considers the problems of choosing the stabilizing structures of power system generators with forced excitation control reliably ensuring steady-state stability of the system operation. The synthesis method outlined for this purpose makes it possible to determine (with minimum stability calculations) both the generator operational condition ...

Synthesis Method of Nonlinear Quasi-Optimal Control Laws for Multidimensional Systems Based on the Maximum Condition of the Generalized Power Function and the Analysis of a Beam of Quadratic Forms

open access: closedUNIVERSITY NEWS. NORTH-CAUCASIAN REGION. NATURAL SCIENCES SERIES, 2023
The synthesis of the control law structure for multidimensional dynamic system according to a quadratic criterion based on the reduction of the Lagrange problem to an isoperimetric problem was carried out taking into account the analysis of a quadratic forms bundle, which ensures the fulfillment of transversality conditions.

Using the method of elementary balances for analysis and synthesis of thermal control system for FOG SINS based on Peltier modules

open access: closedGyroscopy and Navigation, 2014
The paper is devoted to analysis and synthesis of bidirectional thermal control system (TCS) of fiber-optic gyros (FOG) and FOG-based strapdown inertial navigation systems (SINS) using the method of elementary balances. Application of Peltier modules is proposed and justified in the system.

Knowledge Discovery from Web Usage Data: Extraction of Sequential Patterns through ART1 Neural Network Based Clustering Algorithm [PDF]

open access: possibleInternational Conference on Computational Intelligence and Multimedia Applications (ICCIMA 2007), 2007
Currently, there are many ongoing researches that are targeted at making robots more human-like. In this paper, we are presenting a flexible algorithm that can allow a robot to write. This novel methodology includes two important phases namely, recognition of characters and writing of characters.Recognition is done via polynomial fitting.
