Parameterized LMIs in Control Theory
SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2000The authors consider several control and optimization problems which can be transformed into parametrized linear matrix inequalities. They are as follows: quadratic programming including some nonconvex and nonconcave topics which can be converted into a Boolean programming task, Lyapunov function based stability and performance analysis for uncertain ...

A Theory of Asynchronous Control Networks
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1971A digital system can be viewed as an interaction of two structures, a data flow structure and a control structure. In this paper we adopt this point of view and concentrate on defining a structure theory for asynchronous control networks, which is formed by interconnecting certain basic control modules.

The Theory Of Coercive Control
2007Abstract A woman wears the same outfit every day, rarely goes out, and continually paces back and forth in a small space. Imagine how hard it would be to explain her behavior if you were unable to reveal that the woman is confined in a jail cell.

Control Theory is at the heart of information and communication technologies of complex systems. It can contribute to meeting the energy and environmental challenges we are facing. The textbook is organized in the way an engineer classically proceeds to solve a control problem, that is, elaboration of a mathematical model capturing the process behavior,
