A Recursive Non-Uniform Sampling Estimator for Asynchronous Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesSensors
In this paper, we consider the problem of asynchronous estimation in the presence of packet losses for the randomly sampling nonlinear system. Packet losses occur at the control input and at the measurement side.

A Model of the On-State Voltage across IGBT Modules Based on Physical Structure and Conduction Mechanisms

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
The on-state voltage is an important electrical parameter of insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) modules. Due to limits in instrumentation and methods, it is difficult to ensure accurate measurements of the on-state voltage in practical working ...

A comparison of continuously controlled and controlled K-theory

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 1996
We define an unreduced version of the e-controlled lower $K$-theoretic groups of Ranicki and Yamasaki, and Quinn. We show that the reduced versions of our groups coincide (in the inverse limit and its first derived, $\lim^1$) with those of Ranicki and Yamasaki.

How synaptic function controls critical transitions in spiking neuron networks: insight from a Kuramoto model reduction

open access: yesFrontiers in Network Physiology
The dynamics of synaptic interactions within spiking neuron networks play a fundamental role in shaping emergent collective behavior. This paper studies a finite-size network of quadratic integrate-and-fire neurons interconnected via a general synaptic ...

Removal Performance and Mechanistic Insights into As(V) Transport in Natural Manganese Minerals

open access: yesToxics
Arsenic contamination in polymetallic mining areas is closely linked to surrounding iron-rich manganese minerals. However, conclusive evidence remains limited regarding the retention and migration process of As(V) in naturally manganese-rich manganese ...

Water Quality Characteristics and Seasonal Changes in Wastewater Treatment in the Southern Hebei Region by Branch

open access: yesToxics
This study analyzed three years of data (2021–2024) from three wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), namely D, X, and T, in the main urban area of Handan, a typical city in the southern Hebei region, and investigated the influent characteristics and ...
