A novel therapeutic diet can significantly reduce the medication score and pruritus of dogs with atopic dermatitis during a nine‐month controlled study

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 33, Issue 1, Page 55-e18, February 2022., 2022
Background – Canine atopic dermatitis (cAD) is a common chronic relapsing pruritic skin disease for which management commonly relies on life‐long use of immunomodulatory drugs. Monte Carlo‐Based Covariance Matrix of Residuals and Critical Values in Minimum L1‐Norm

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
Robust estimators are often lacking a closed‐form expression for the computation of their residual covariance matrix. In fact, it is also a prerequisite to obtain critical values for normalized residuals. We present an approach based on Monte Carlo simulation to compute the residual covariance matrix and critical values for robust estimators.
