CONTINUOUS-TIME LQ PREDICTIVE POLE-PLACEMENT CONTROL
The previously developed Predictive Pole Placement (PPP) controller is modified to give enhanced numerical and stability properties by embedding the method in a linear-quadratic formulation to give a linear-quadratic PPP (LQPPP) controller. Input, output and state constraints are considered using an natural quadratic programming (QP) formulation of ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Analisa Perbandingan Efisiensi Energi Dari Penempatan Rangkaian Pengontrol Kecepatan Motor Induksi Kapasitor Running Satu Fasa 220 Volt 30 Watt 1370 RPM Yang Terhubung Pada Suplai Dengan Yang Terhubung Pada Main Winding [PDF]
In this paper we discuss about comparing efficiency of single phase capacitor running induction motor, 220 Volt, 30 Watt, 1370 Rpm, where the placement of speed controller is connected on source supply or main winding.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

The role of inter-controller traffic in SDN controllers placement
We consider a distributed Software Defined Networking (SDN) architecture adopting a cluster of multiple controllers to improve network performance and reliability. Differently from previous work, we focus on the control traffic exchanged among the controllers, in addition to the Openflow control traffic exchanged between controllers and switches.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Comparative Study of Load Frequency Controller Designs for Interconnected Power Systems
This paper presents a comparative study of three different load frequency (LF) controller designs for interconnected power systems. They are the conventional integral controller, a controller based on the pole-placement technique, and a controller based ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
