Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

An efficient quantum partial differential equation solver with chebyshev points
Differential equations are the foundation of mathematical models representing the universe’s physics. Hence, it is significant to solve partial and ordinary differential equations, such as Navier–Stokes, heat transfer, convection–diffusion, and wave ...

Convection in fluid and porous media [PDF]
The subject of convection in fluid and porous media is investigated. Particular attention is paid to penetrative convection. The first two chapters are devoted to penetrative convection when fluid overlies and saturates a porous medium.

SUPG reduced order models for convection-dominated convection-diffusion-reaction equations [PDF]
This paper presents a Streamline-Upwind Petrov--Galerkin (SUPG) reduced order model (ROM) based on Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD). This ROM is investigated theoretically and numerically for convection-dominated convection-diffusion-reaction ...

A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Spectral Galerkin Methods for Riesz Space-Fractional Convection–Diffusion Equations
This paper applies the spectral Galerkin method to numerically solve Riesz space-fractional convection–diffusion equations. Firstly, spectral Galerkin algorithms were developed for one-dimensional Riesz space-fractional convection–diffusion equations ...

Flux Correction for Nonconservative Convection-Diffusion Equation
Our goal is to develop a flux limiter of the Flux-Corrected Transport method for a nonconservative convection-diffusion equation. For this, we consider a hybrid difference scheme that is a linear combination of a monotone scheme and a scheme of high-order accuracy.

A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.
