Ball Convergence of Multipoint Methods for Non-linear Systems

2021
We study Multipoint methods using only the first derivative. Earlier studies use higher than three order derivatives not on the methods. Moreover Lipschitz constants are used to find error estimates not presented in earlier papers. Numerical examples complete this paper.

Convergence ball of iterations with one parameter

Applied Mathematics-A Journal of Chinese Universities, 2005
This article looks at a general family of iterative methods with one parameter to solve the equation \(F(\vec{x})=0\), which includes the super-Halley, the Chebyshev as well as the Halley method. Under a weak Lipschitz condition the author proves a convergence theorem and estimates the convergence radius.

Ball Convergence of a Sixth Order Iterative Method

2015
We present a local convergence analysis of a sixth order iterative method for approximate a locally unique solution of an equation defined on the real line.

Convergence ball and error analysis of a family of iterative methods with cubic convergence

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2009
A family of iterative methods covering various third order variants of Newton's method is proposed, and their convergence is studied. Assuming Lipschitz continuous second derivatives, cubic convergence is obtained. Some numerical examples are included.

Ball convergence theorems and the convergence planes of an iterative method for nonlinear equations

SeMA Journal, 2015
The local convergence of a method presented by Cordero et al. (see references [10, 12-14] in the paper under review) of convergence order at least five to approximate a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation is studied. The convergence in this study is shown under hypotheses on the first derivative. The applicability of the method is expanded.

Ball convergence for a three-point method with optimal convergence order eight under weak conditions

Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2018
We present a local convergence analysis of an optimal eighth-order family of Ostrowski like methods for approximating a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation. Earlier studies [T. Lotfi, S.
