Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

ASSESSMENTS OF THE DEGREE OF ADOPTION OF THE EURO IN ROMANIA [PDF]

open access: yesChallenges of the Knowledge Society, 2014
The changeover to euro is an older objective of Romania, but whose implementation has suffered numerous delays depending on the degree of economic integration with the euro area and the fulfilment of nominal convergence criteria.

High‐Temperature Nanoindentation of Metals: Assessing Thermal Drift, Frame Compliance, and Chemical Composition Effects on the Reported Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

EUROZONE: EXIT STRATEGIES [PDF]

open access: yesAnalele Universităţii Constantin Brâncuşi din Târgu Jiu : Seria Economie, 2017
While for Eurozone entry there are convergence criteria, out of this area there are not accompanied by such criteria. Both the Eurozone and the EMU are deficient due to lack of these criteria. They must quickly proposed.

NOMINAL CONVERGENCE: THE CASE OF ROMANIA [PDF]

open access: yes
The main objectives of this paper are: determining the extent to which the indicators of nominal convergence reflect the reality of the Romanian economy, in order to find an optimal correlation between nominal and real convergence from the point of view ...

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.
