Approximation of invariant measures for a class of maps with indifferent fixed points
Certain dynamical systems on the interval with neutrally stable repelling points admit invariant probability measures which are absolutely continuous with respect to Lebesgue measure.

Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

Positively Charged Polymer‐Brush MOFs for Large‐Area, Pressure‐Resistant Gas Separation Membranes
A universal POPA strategy enables positively charged polymer‐brush MOFs with self‐adaptive interfacial interlocking to resist aggregation under fast processing. This design ensures seamless dispersion within large‐area selective layers, achieving 1 m‐wide roll‐to‐roll fabrication of pressure‐resistant MMCMs with tunable CO2 separation performance ...

Tightness of probability measures and its application in weak convergence.
In stochastic theory, several types of convergence are known, with convergence in dis- tribution being among the most commonly used. This type of convergence is defined via weak convergence, which is the primary focus of this bachelor's thesis.

Maximal uniform convergence rates in parametric estimation problems
This paper considers parametric estimation problems with independent, identically nonregularly distributed data. It focuses on rate efficiency, in the sense of maximal possible convergence rates of stochastically bounded estimators, as an optimality ...

On a Gibbs sampler based random process in Bayesian nonparametrics [PDF]
We define and investigate a new class of measure-valued Markov chains by resorting to ideas formulated in Bayesian nonparametrics related to the Dirichlet process and the Gibbs sampler.

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Construction of the beta distributions using the random permutation divisors
A subset of cycles comprising a permutation σ in the symmetric group Sn, n ∈ N, is called a divisor of σ. Then the partial sums over divisors with sizes up to un, 0 ≤ u ≤ 1, of values of a nonnegative multiplicative function on a random permutation ...

WEAK CONVERGENCE OF PROBABILITY MEASURES ALONG PROJECTIVE SYSTEMS
The author generalizes the notion of weak convergence of probability measures to the case when each measure \(\mu_ \alpha\) of a net \(\{\mu_ \alpha\}\) of probability measures is defined on the Borel \(\sigma\)- algebra of a metrizable topological space \(\Omega_ \alpha\) and the system \(\{\Omega_ \alpha\}\) forms a projective system of topological ...
