Kernel convergence of hyperbolic components. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We study families $G(\lambda,\cdot)$ of entire functions that are approximated by a sequence of families $G_n(\lambda,\cdot)$ of entire functions, where $\lambda\in\C$ is a parameter.

A Machine Proof of the Filter-Method Construction for Real Numbers

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents a machine verification of a real number theory where real numbers are constructed using concepts related to filters. The theory encompasses a special filter, namely the non-principal arithmetical ultrafilter whose existence can be ...

Thalamo‐Lesional Connectivity Signatures of Bilateral Tonic–Clonic Seizures in Focal Cortical Dysplasia‐Related Epilepsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.

Iteratively Decoded Variable Length Space-Time Coded Modulation: Code Construction and Convergence Analysis

open access: yes, 2007
An Iteratively Decoded Variable Length Space Time Coded Modulation (VL-STCM-ID) scheme capable of simultaneously providing both coding and iteration gain as well as multiplexing and diversity gain is proposed. Non-binary unity-rate precoders are employed

p-topological and p-regular: dual notions in convergence theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1999
The natural duality between “topological” and “regular,” both considered as convergence space properties, extends naturally to p-regular convergence spaces, resulting in the new concept of a p-topological convergence space.

Integrating Patient‐Reported Quality Measures in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: Development of the American College of Rheumatology Implementation Guide

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

A Rocq-Based Formalization of Hilbert’s Geometry: Building a Reusable Foundation for 3D Perpendicularity Theory and Verification

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications
Hilbert’s axiom system for geometry is a landmark in formal methods. This paper presents a complete formalization of spatial perpendicularity—a theory not fully developed in Hilbert’s original work—using the Rocq proof assistant.

Adaptive Observer for Coupled Wave PDE and Infinite ODE With Sampled Data and Unknown Input: Application to Brain Hemodynamics Estimation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.
