Chemoresistome mapping in individual breast cancer patients unravels diversity in dynamic transcriptional adaptation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

Convergence of values in optimal stopping and convergence of optimal stopping times [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
Under the hypothesis of convergence in probability of a sequence of c\`{a}dl\`{a}g processes $(X^n)\_n$ to a c\`{a}dl\`{a}g process $X$, we are interested in the convergence of corresponding values in optimal stopping and also in the convergence of optimal stopping times.

Drivers, hitting times, and weldings in Loewner's equation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
In addition to conformal weldings $\varphi$, simple curves $\gamma$ growing in the upper half plane generate driving functions $\xi$ and hitting times $\tau$ through Loewner's differential equation. While the Loewner transform $\gamma \mapsto \xi$ and its inverse $\xi \mapsto \gamma$ have been carefully examined, less attention has been paid to the ...

INTERIOR GATEWAY PROTOCOL ROUTING PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF THE VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK BASED ON MULTI PROTOCOL LABEL SWITCHING AND DIRECT-LINK BACKUPSED ON MPLS AND DIRECT-LINK BACKUP

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah SINERGI, 2019
The stability and convergence time become an essential factor in network availability performance. Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is one of the Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies that can support the quality of communication media on the ...

Quantitative bounds on convergence of time-inhomogeneous Markov chains

open access: yes, 2004
Convergence rates of Markov chains have been widely studied in recent years. In particular, quantitative bounds on convergence rates have been studied in various forms by Meyn and Tweedie [Ann. Appl. Probab. 4 (1994) 981-1101], Rosenthal [J.

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Fuzzy Statistical Limits [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
Statistical limits are defined relaxing conditions on conventional convergence. The main idea of the statistical convergence of a sequence l is that the majority of elements from l converge and we do not care what is going on with other elements. At the same time, it is known that sequences that come from real life sources, such as measurement and ...

Markov Chains with finite convergence time

open access: yesStochastic Processes and their Applications, 1978
AbstractWe study the properties of finite ergodic Markov Chains whose transition probability matrix P is singular. The results establish bounds on the convergence time of Pm to a matrix where all the rows are equal to the stationary distribution of P.

Convergence of the time-discretized monotonic schemes [PDF]

open access: yesESAIM: Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Analysis, 2007
Many numerical simulations in (bilinear) quantum control use the monotonically convergent Krotov algorithms (introduced by Tannor et al. [Time Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics (1992) 347–360]), Zhu and Rabitz [J. Chem. Phys. (1998) 385–391] or their unified form described in Maday and Turinici [J. Chem. Phys. (2003) 8191–8196]. In Maday et al.
