Les lieux de passage en Grande Syrie à la fin de l’Antiquité : l’apport des sources syriaques

open access: yesCahiers Mondes Anciens, 2013

Conversation, Conversion, Proportion

open access: yesÉtudes britanniques contemporaines, 2005
On the grounds of the etymological kinship between the words ‘conversion’ and ‘conversation’, the diatribe against Dr Bradshaw’s worship for ‘Proportion and Conversion’ in Mrs Dalloway can be read as a shadow praise of the art of conversation: a violent political and aesthetic manifesto echoing a number of Virginia Woolf’s essays and autobiographical ...

The compatible conversion system [PDF]

open access: yes, 1969
Compatible conversion system centralizes the solution of general problems arising from the use of direct access mass storage. It also provides a simple stable interface for the conversion of production programs to process on third generation computer ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

New constraints on R-parity violation from \mu-e conversion in nuclei [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
We derive new constraints on the products of explicitly R-parity violating couplings $\lambda$ and $\lambda'$ in MSSM from searches for \mu-e conversion in nuclei. We concentrate on the loop induced photonic coherent conversion mode. For the combinations

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
