Internal Power Loss Modeling and Efficiency Evaluation of Full-Bridge DC–DC Converters Based on Load-Current-Dependent Loss Coefficients

open access: yesEnergies
In this paper, a theoretical methodology is proposed for the systematic analysis of the power conversion efficiency of a full-bridge converter. Using the steady-state analysis results derived from the equivalent circuit, we introduced the concept of ...

Measurements of the O+ plus N2 and O+ plus O2 reaction rates from 300 to 900 K [PDF]

open access: yes
Rate coefficients for the O(+) + N2 atom transfer and O(+) + O2 charge transfer reactions are determined at thermal energies between 300 K and 900 K difference in a heated drift tube mass spectrometer apparatus.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Quantifying the effects of driving factors and runoff sensitivity on runoff variation based on the Budyko equation

open access: yesEcological Indicators
Changes in driving factors can directly impact runoff variation and indirectly alter it through the runoff sensitivity coefficients. This study has broken through the problem of ignoring the dynamic change of runoff sensitivity coefficients in previous ...

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Network Derivation of Liquid Junction Potentials in Single-Membrane System

open access: yesMembranes
Peusner’s network thermodynamics (PNT) is one of the more important formalisms of nonequilibrium thermodynamics used to describe membrane transport and the conversion of the internal energy of the system into energy dissipated in the environment and free

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.
