Secrecy Transmission for Self-Energy Recycling Untrusted Relay Networks With Imperfect Channel State Information

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
For the self-energy recycling (SER) untrusted relay network, a two-phase destination-based jamming (DBJ) protocol is proposed, in which the destination transmits the jamming signal to reduce the received SNR of the untrusted relay node in the first phase

A convex OPF approximation for selecting the best candidate nodes for optimal location of power sources on DC resistive networks

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2020
This paper proposes a convex approximation approach for solving the optimal power flow (OPF) problem in direct current (DC) networks with constant power loads by using a sequential quadratic programming approach.

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

Disciplined Convex Programming [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A new methodology for constructing convex optimization models called disciplined convex programming is introduced. The methodology enforces a set of conventions upon the models constructed, in turn allowing much of the work required to analyze and solve the models to be automated.

Matrix convex functions with applications to weighted centers for semidefinite programming [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, we develop various calculus rules for general smooth matrix-valued functions and for the class of matrix convex (or concave) functions first introduced by Loewner and Kraus in 1930s.

Self‐Powered Permeable Electronic Dressing for Exudate Management, Electrostimulation and Drug Delivery in Chronic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a self‐powered permeable electronic dressing (SPED) that synergistically integrates exudate management, electrical stimulation, and on‐demand drug delivery. The dressing effectively absorbs exudate while demonstrating potent antibacterial activity and accelerated tissue regeneration in diabetic mouse models, thereby promoting ...

Decoupled multiagent path planning via incremental sequential convex programming

open access: yesIEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2015
This paper presents a multiagent path planning algorithm based on sequential convex programming (SCP) that finds locally optimal trajectories. Previous work using SCP efficiently computes motion plans in convex spaces with no static obstacles.

Unraveling the Heterogeneity of Cargo Distribution in the Exogenous Association of Proteins With Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We characterized the distribution of cargo proteins associated with extracellular vesicles using various exogenous loading methods. In all cases, single‐particle analysis revealed that the distribution of protein content per EV is heterogeneous, following an exponential decay function.
