ABSTRACT Aim An electrocardiogram is commonly recommended in breath‐holding spell management, mainly to rule out long QT syndrome. This retrospective study investigated the risk of long QT syndrome being misdiagnosed as breath‐holding spells in a paediatric population in southern Sweden.

Pregnancy‐Related Risk and Birth Setting Trends: Insights From Indonesian Demographic Health Survey Data

New analysis from 15 years of Indonesian Demographic Health Survey Data has identified a shift from home birth to hospital birth. However, 65% of women who gave birth in hospital had no risk factors, while 13% of women who gave birth at home did report pregnancy‐related risk factors.

Neonates born at term with periventricular haemorrhagic infarction: Risk factors and clinical presentation

This case series describes infants born near term with periventricular hemorrhagic infarction (PVHI), highlighting seizures as a common early symptom. Neonatal complications during delivery and pro‐thrombotic genetic mutations were slightly more common. MRI‐classified involvement was predominantly in the caudate vein territory.
