Cooperation and Communication Restrictions: A Survey [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
A survey is provided on the line of research on graph-restricted cooperative games as initiated by Myerson (1977). Special attention is paid to the results with respect to the Myerson value and the position value.

Cooperative versus argumentative communication

open access: yesPhilosophia Scientiæ, 2004
In pragmatics, the theory of language use, it is standard to assume that communication is a cooperative affair. Recently, this standard view has come under attack by Ducrot and Merin, and it has been proposed that an argumentative view on natural ...

Communication and cooperation in repeated games [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical Economics, 2017
We study the role of communication in repeated games with private monitoring. We first show that without communication, the set of Nash equilibrium payoffs in such games is a subset of the set ofε‐coarse correlated equilibrium payoffs (ε‐CCE) of the underlying one‐shot game. The value ofεdepends on the discount factor and the quality of monitoring.

Exploiting hybrid non‐orthogonal multiple access in satellite–terrestrial systems with randomly deployed users

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2022
In this letter, a hybrid non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme for satellite–terrestrial systems is proposed, which is capable of integrating both power domain NOMA (PD‐NOMA) and code domain NOMA (CD‐NOMA) design modes.
