Optimal Multi-Antenna Transmission for the Cooperative Non-Orthogonal Multiple-Access System
We investigate the beamforming for the multi antenna cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system, where an access point (AP) delivers messages for multiple user terminals (UT) with successive interference cancellation (SIC) reception method.

Multiple-Symbol Differential Sphere Detection Aided Successive Relaying in the Cooperative DS-CDMA Uplink [PDF]
The conventional amplify-and-forward cooperative system is capable of achieving a superior performance with the aid of Multiple-Symbol Differential Sphere Detection (MSDSD), when compared to conventional differential detection (CDD) for transmission over

On the achievable diversity-multiplexing tradeoff in half-duplex cooperative channels [PDF]
We propose novel cooperative transmission protocols for delay-limited coherent fading channels consisting of N (half-duplex and single-antenna) partners and one cell site. In our work, we differentiate between the relay, cooperative broadcast (down-link),

Cooperative transmission is an emerging communication technique that takes advantages of the broadcast nature of wireless channels. However, due to low spectral efficiency and the requirement of orthogonal channels, its potential for use in future ...

DMT Optimal On-Demand Relaying for Mesh Networks [PDF]
This paper presents a new cooperative MAC (Medium Access Control) protocol called BRIAF (Best Relay based Incremental Amplify-and-Forward). The proposed protocol presents two features: on-demand relaying and selection of the best relay terminal.

Delay- and Diversity-Aware Buffer-Aided Relay Selection Policies in Cooperative Networks
Buffer-Aided (BA) relaying has shown tremendous performance improvements in terms of throughput and outage probability, although it has been criticized of suffering from long delays that are restrictive for applications, such as video streaming, Web ...

Cooperative diversity with opportunistic relaying [PDF]
In this paper, we present single-selection-opportunistic-relaying with decode-and-forward (DaF) and amplify-and-forward (AaF) protocols under an aggregate power constraint. We show that opportunistic DaF relaying is equivalent to the outage bound of the optimal DaF strategy using all potential relays.

Distributed Space-Time Coding for Full-Duplex Asynchronous Cooperative Communications
In this paper, we propose two distributed linear convolutional space-time coding (DLC-STC) schemes for full-duplex (FD) asynchronous cooperative communications.
