Optimal Cooperative Relaying and Jamming for Secure Communication

IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, 2015
This letter considers joint cooperative beamforming and jamming schemes in a cooperative relay network where distributed relay nodes perform cooperative beamforming. The problem of interest is to keep the eavesdropper’s signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) as low as possible while maintaining the legitimate receiver’s SINR requirement ...

Cooperative Antijamming Relaying for Control Channel Jamming in Vehicular Networks

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2017
Radio Frequency jamming attacks constitute a major threat to the availability of the vehicular networks. In particular, if the control channel is under persistent jamming attacks, the victim vehicles may fail to receive the safety related messages from the Road Side Unit, which can possibly cause tremendous economic loss and claim human lives.

Relay selection for optimized cooperative jamming scheme

2015 23rd European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO), 2015
In this paper, we study the problem of secure dualhop transmission in the presence of an eavesdropper, where a secrecy-enhanced relay selection as well as a destination cooperation are presented to prevent the source information from being eavesdropped.

Cooperative Jamming Algorithm Based on Trust Update

2020 International Conference on Cyber-Enabled Distributed Computing and Knowledge Discovery (CyberC), 2020
To deal with the security challenges and optimize the system communication quality, this paper focuses on introducing the concept of social networks to improve the physical layer security of D2D networks. The paper transforms the social relationship between nodes into a trust relationship. The node who is communicating can use free trusted D2D users as

UAV-Aided Secure Communications With Cooperative Jamming

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2018
This paper investigates unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) enabled secure communication systems where a mobile UAV wishes to send confidential messages to multiple ground users. To improve the security performance, a cooperative UAV is additionally considered that transmits the jamming signal.

Friendly cooperation jamming for secrecy in LOS channel

2012 International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP), 2012
A multiple nodes wireless communication network in LOS channel is considered, consisting of a sender (Alice), a receiver (Bob), several friendly helpers, and a passive eavesdropper (Eve), each equipped with an omnidirectional antenna. The helpers work cooperatively to jam Eve.

Secure Cognitive Communication via Cooperative Jamming

2020 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC), 2020
Nowadays, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are widely used to ensure the security of wireless communications. In this paper, we propose a cooperative jamming scheme to secure cognitive radio (CR) networks. In the proposed scheme, the source UAV transmits confidential information to ground users.

Cooperative jamming in downlink satellite network with hardware impairments

Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, 2021
AbstractIn this article, a land mobile satellite communication network with an external jammer to fight against the eavesdropper is investigated, where the hardware impairments are introduced to make the analyses more practical. It is worth noting that three jamming schemes, that is, the Gaussian noise jamming, the friendly jamming, and the scheme ...

A cooperative protocol for jamming eavesdroppers in wireless networks

2012 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2012
We present a jamming protocol for secrecy-enhanced wireless networks in which otherwise silent devices are selected as jammers to cause interference to potential eavesdroppers. This cooperative protocol includes several jammer selection policies that lead to different levels of secrecy-energy tradeoffs.

LDPC-based coded cooperative jamming codes

2012 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2012
We present a practical coded cooperative jamming scheme for the problem of secure communications over the two-way wiretap channel. We design low-density parity-check (LDPC) based codes whose codewords interfere at the eavesdropper's terminal, thus providing secrecy.
