Boundary Maps and Fenchel–Nielsen–Maskit Coordinates
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2003We consider a genus 2 surface, M, of constant negative curvature and we construct a 12-sided fundamental domain, where the sides are segments of the lifts of closed geodesics on M (which determines the Fenchel–Nielsen–Maskit coordinates). Then we study the linear fractional transformations of the side pairing of the fundamental domain.

Carrington Coordinates and Solar Maps
Solar Physics, 2006Solar synoptic charts are normally displayed using Carrington Coordinates with each Carrington rotation being centered at a Carrington longitude of 180^∘ and with a full 360^∘ of solar surface properties included. For the case of reproducing solar magnetic fields in the corona and heliosphere, these maps are wrapped onto the solar surface to provide ...

INVERSE MAPPING THEOREM ON COORDINATE SPACES
Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 2001A mean-value theorem, an inverse mapping theorem and an implicit mapping theorem are established here in a class of complex locally convex spaces, including the spaces of test functions in distribution theory. Our main tool is the integral formula and the invariance of the domain, derived from topological degrees, rather than from fixed points of ...

Care Coordination in Primary Care: Mapping the Territory
The American Journal of Managed Care, 2023To document the current approaches to care coordination among different types of care systems in Minnesota.Observational survey of leaders of most of the care systems in Minnesota that have implemented care coordination.Survey questions about organizational structure, size, and approach to care coordination were sent to the leaders of 42 care systems ...

Coordinate Mapping For Pointing And Tracking
SPIE Proceedings, 1989An image tracking system using log-polar mapping is investigated using a priori knowledge of the target geometry. The shape of the mapped target's leading edge contains information regarding the orientation and location of the target. The projection of the target image for various view angles introduces distortions in the mapped image.

Abstract : This set of twelve FORTRAN subroutes will convert the coordinates of a point given in geographic, military, state planar, or Universal Transverse Mercator form to coordinates represented in a second form chosen from the four coordinate types. (Author)

Conceptual Map for Social Coordination
2016The engineering of applications for complex and dynamic domains with autonomous participants is an increasingly difficult process. Requirements and functionalities are not fixed a priori, components are not designed nor controlled by a common entity, and unplanned or underspecified changes may occur during runtime.

Coordinated control of multiple terrain mapping UGVs
IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2004. Proceedings. ICRA '04. 2004, 2004A coordinated control scheme is developed for a team of autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) engaged in outdoor terrain mapping. It is based on a systems- and control-oriented enhancement of the "intelligent agent" paradigm which we call the Hybrid Intelligent Control Agent (HICA). HICA essentially embeds a hybrid control system in an intelligent

Iteration Logistic Map Dynamics in the Polar Coordinates
Fractals, 1998The complicated dynamics of logistic maps with four fundamental operations in the polar coordinates are analyzed in this paper. Iterations of single logistic map in polar coordinates exhibit similar characteristics as in the Cartesian coordinates. Iterations of double logistic maps, however, are more interesting in polar coordinates than those in ...

THE ELECTRONIC MAP-COORDINATE DIGITIZER
Cartographica, 1970The time-consuming procedure of determining X-Y map coordinates by hand can be avoided through use of an electronic coordinate digitizer. Equipment particularly suited to cartographic work is now available, as illustrated by the digitizer in the Department of Geography, York University.
