Particle systems with coordination

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Probability and Mathematical Statistics, 2021
We consider a generalization of spatial branching coalescing processes in which the behaviour of individuals is not (necessarily) independent, on the contrary, individuals tend to take simultaneous actions. We show that these processes have moment duals, which happen to be multidimensional diffusions with jumps.

How to construct a coordinate representation of a Hamiltonian operator on a torus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The dynamical system of a point particle constrained on a torus is quantized \`a la Dirac with two kinds of coordinate systems respectively; the Cartesian and toric coordinate systems.

Solving Einstein's Equations With Dual Coordinate Frames [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A method is introduced for solving Einstein's equations using two distinct coordinate systems. The coordinate basis vectors associated with one system are used to project out components of the metric and other fields, in analogy with the way fields are ...

ETRS89/D96-17 – Rezultat GNSS-izmere EUREF Slovenija 2016 ( = ETRS89/D96-17 – A result of the EUREF Slovenia 2016 GNSS campaign) [PDF]

open access: yesGeodetski Vestnik, 2020
The horizontal component of the national spatial reference system of Slovenia is based on EUREF GPS campaigns at the passive GNSS-network of EUREF sites in the years 1994–1996.

Coordination in Brain Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This chapter reviews the concept of dynamic coordination, its mechanistic implementation in brain circuits, and the extent to which dynamic coordination, and specific manifestations of it, have the power to account for functions performed by interacting brain systems.

The coding and inter-manual transfer of movement sequences

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2011
The manuscript reviews recent experiments that use inter-manual transfer and inter-manual practice paradigms to determine the coordinate system (visual-spatial or motor) used in the coding of movement sequences.

Multipole structure and coordinate systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Multipole expansions depend on the coordinate system, so that coefficients of multipole moments can be set equal to zero by an appropriate choice of coordinates.

Block diagonalisation of four-dimensional metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
It is shown that, in 4-dimensions, it is possible to introduce coordinates so that an analytic metric locally takes block diagonal form. i.e. one can find coordinates such that g = 0 for (, ) 2 S where S = {(1, 3), (1, 4), (2, 3), (2, 4)}.

Stewart platform pneumatic control system development and characteristic research

open access: yesВестник Самарского университета: Аэрокосмическая техника, технологии и машиностроение, 2016
The paper presents the results of improving the Stewart platform control system by applying the second-order regulation law to pneumatic drive controllers and transformation of the actuating signal for the functioning of valves in the linear region of ...
