Coordinated optimal scheduling of island microgrid for power-hydrogen-carbon integration based on SAO-NSGA-II algorithm

open access: yesZhejiang dianli
In response to the high curtailment rate of solar energy and the frequent startup and shutoff operations of diesel generators, which lead to high carbon emissions in island microgrids, this paper proposes a coordinated optimal scheduling strategy for ...

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Application of genetic algorithm for scheduling and schedule coordination problems

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2002
AbstractThe problems on scheduling and schedule co‐ordination usually have conflicting objectives related to user's cost and operator's cost. Users want to spend less time to wait, transfer and travel by public buses. Operators are interested in profit making by lesser vehicle operating cost and having a minimum number of buses.

Optimal coordinated energy management in active distribution networks considering battery energy storage and price‐responsive demand

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution
Contemporary distribution networks can be seen with diverse dispatchable and non‐dispatchable energy resources. The coordinated scheduling of these dispatchable resources with non‐dispatchable resources can provide several techno‐economic and social ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Performance of Coordinated Scheduling in Downlink LTE-A under User Mobility

open access: yes, 2018
Resource scheduling, in LTE, plays a pivotal role to determine the user equipment (UE) throughput. The performance of a scheduler is primarily affected by the associated latency and UE mobility.

Coordinated dispatching strategy of multiple energy sources for wind power consumption

open access: yesJournal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, 2019
Heat storage systems with multiple heat sources play an important role in consuming extra wind power. A reasonable scheduling strategy for a hybrid system with multiple heat and electric sources could provide greater economic benefits.

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
