Electrical conductive coordination polymers

Chem. Soc. Rev., 2012
Coordination polymers are currently one of the hottest topics in Inorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry. This critical review summarizes the current state-of-the-art on electrical conductive coordination polymers (CPs), also named metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).

Functional Porous Coordination Polymers

Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2004
AbstractThe chemistry of the coordination polymers has in recent years advanced extensively, affording various architectures, which are constructed from a variety of molecular building blocks with different interactions between them. The next challenge is the chemical and physical functionalization of these architectures, through the porous properties ...

Linkage Isomerism in Coordination Polymers

Inorganic Chemistry, 2012
The use of the recently prepared polynitrile ligand tcnopr3OH(-) ([(NC)(2)CC(OCH(2)CH(2)CH(2)OH)C(CN)(2)](-)) with different salts of Fe(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) has led to a very rare example of linkage isomerism in a coordination chain. These pairs of linkage isomers can be formulated as [M(tcnopr3OH-κN,κO)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]; M = Fe (1), Co (3), and Ni(5)

Supramolecular isomerism in coordination polymers

Chemical Society Reviews, 2009
Coordination polymers have been emerging as a topical research field in crystal engineering, solid-state chemistry, and materials science. Considering the wide occurrence of structural and compositional diversity during self-assembly and crystallization, supramolecular isomerism represents an indication of composition control and structure prediction ...

Nanometrization of Lanthanide‐Based Coordination Polymers

Chemistry – A European Journal, 2015
AbstractHeteronuclear lanthanide‐based coordination polymers are microcrystalline powders, the luminescence properties of which can be precisely tuned by judicious choice of the rare‐earth ions. In this study, we demonstrate that such materials can also be obtained as stable solutions of nanoparticles in non‐toxic polyols.

Metallogels from Coordination Complexes, Organometallic, and Coordination Polymers

Chemistry – An Asian Journal, 2016
AbstractA supramolecular gel results from the immobilization of solvent molecules on a 3D network of gelator molecules stabilized by various supramolecular interactions that include hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, van der Waals interactions, and halogen bonding.

Coordination Polymers of Tolylthioureas

Journal of Macromolecular Science: Part A - Chemistry, 1986
Abstract The coordination complexes of o- and p-tolylthioureas with Co(II) and Ni(II) have been synthesized and characterized with the help of elemental analysis, infrared and reflectance spectra, and magnetic and thermogravimetric measurements. The complexes are found to be polymeric in nature with an octahedral geometry.
