L/Y Ratios in Terms of CIE-Chromaticity Coordinates

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1958
In previous papers a correlate for lightness (L) was found in terms of CIE-tristimulus values for colors of approximately constant luminous reflectance (Y). L could be expressed by a second degree equation with X, Y, Z as variables. In the present study about 100 samples were selected to cover the gamut of existing surface colors.

Coordinating independent buyers with integer‐ratio time coordination and quantity discounts

Naval Research Logistics (NRL), 2003
AbstractSupply chain members can gain substantial benefits by coordinating their activities. However, a remaining challenge is to create useful coordination mechanisms when channel members are independent. This paper develops a coordination strategy with which a supplier uses quantity discounts to entice independent buyers to comply with an integer ...

Establishing RN Residency Coordinator Standard Work and Coordinator to Resident Ratios

Nursing Administration Quarterly
Nurse Residency Programs, designed to facilitate the challenging transition from the academic pre-licensure state to professional registered nurse, have gained importance over the past 20 years, with evidence suggesting that successful programs help newly licensed nurses develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to build confidence and ...

Nashification and the Coordination Ratio for a Selfish Routing Game

2003
We study the problem of n users selfishly routing traffic through a network consisting of m parallel related links. Users route their traffic by choosing private probability distributions over the links with the aim of minimizing their private latency. In such an environment Nash equilibria represent stable states of the system: no user can improve its

Complex coordinate rotation calculation of branching ratios

International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 1982
AbstractIt is shown how branching ratios can be obtained from complex coordinate rotation calculations. The procedure is applied to a rotational Feshbach resonance in a model atom‐diatom van der Waals complex which has two open channels present, and to a simple two‐channel model potential problem which has been treated by other workers.

Dynamic Pressure Ratio Allocation for Electric Supercharger and Turbocharger Coordination

2018 Annual American Control Conference (ACC), 2018
To improve transient torque response of an aggressively downsized turbocharged spark-ignition engine, a series sequential boosting configuration that utilizes an electrically driven supercharger to assist the main turbocharger compressor is considered. The system is overactuated with two actuators (i.e.

Calculation of Hamada coordinates for a large-aspect-ratio tokamak

Physics of Fluids B: Plasma Physics, 1990
The application of the well-known moment equation approach to neoclassical transport requires the use of Hamada coordinates in three-dimensional toroidal plasmas. The lack of analytical expressions and the difficulty associated with the numerical calculation of these coordinates has strongly limited the use of this approach.

Coordinated Management and Ratio Assessment of Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2020
With the rapid increase in electric vehicle adoption rate, both domains of power grid and transport system are facing operational challenges in the coordination and assessment of electric vehicle charging facilities. These facilities include not just public charging stations but also swapping stations and home charging stations that perform roles ...

Coordination and RedOx ratio of iron in sodium‐silicate glasses

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 2012
Abstract Mossbauer and Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy studies of iron status in doped sodium-silicate glasses (100 −  x , mol%)Na 2 O ( x , mol%)SiO 2 ( y , wt.%) Fe 2 O 3 ( x  = 75; 81; y  = 0.05–13) were made as a function of glass matrix and total iron content.
