Phytochemistry, 1971Abstract The oleoresin of Copaifera langsdorfii L. has been found to contain some sesquiterpenic hydrocarbons and diterpenic acids. Caryophyllene, copaene, β-bisabolene, polyalthic acid, (—)-kaur-16-en-19-oic acid, (—)-16β-kauran-19-oic acid and eperu-8(20)-en-15,18-dioic acid were isolated.
