Left-handed coplanar waveguide [PDF]
This paper proposes a new version of a left-handed coplanar waveguide. The line has a fully uniplanar structure without vias and lumped elements. The series capacitors are represented by interdigital capacitors and the parallel inductors by short circuited CPW stubs connected to a ground metallization.

Development of Transmission Line Employing Graphene-Silver Nanowire/PET Structure for Application in Flexible and Wearable Devices in X-Band Wireless Communication Systems [PDF]
In this study, we fabricated a coplanar waveguide using a novel graphene-silver nanowire composite structure (GNCS) on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate and then investigated its radio frequency (RF) characteristics.

Triple band Quasi-Yagi Antenna for Mutiband Applications
This paper presents a simple and compact quasi-yagi antenna for multiband applications. The antenna consisting of a multistrip quasi-yagi element and a coplanar waveguide to coplanar fed line, the antenna operates in three different frequency bands ...

Multiband isolator based on a coplanar metaline
This study presents for the first time the feasibility of a coplanar isolator using YIG material for applications in the Ku, K and Ka bands. The proposed structure is an asymmetric coplanar waveguide with a transverse array of unopened slots etched on a ...

A metamolecule antenna for coplanar waveguides
We report on a metamolecule antenna, based on a fish-scale design but augmented with two split-ring resonators (SRRs) placed within the fish-scale loops. The properties of the antenna resonator, with and without additional SRRs, were examined using finite element method simulations (COMSOL Multiphysics).

Quasi-static solutions of elliptical, cylindrical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide, and coupled parallel coplanar waveguide with finite ground planes [PDF]
This article presents the quasi-static analyses of elliptical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (ECP CPW), cylindrical-coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (CCP CPW), and coupled parallel coplanar waveguide (CP CPW) with finite ground planes.

Generation of ultrashort electrical pulses in semiconductor waveguides [PDF]
We report a novel device capable of generating ultrashort electrical pulses on a coplanar waveguide (CPW) by means of optical rectification. The device consists of a completely passive GaAs-based optical waveguide, which is velocity matched to a CPW line.

A new rectangular waveguide to coplanar waveguide transition [PDF]
A novel rectangular-waveguide-to-coplanar-waveguide transition is described. The transition uses a ridge in one of the broad walls of the waveguide and a nonradiating slot in the opposite wall to split and rotate the electromagnetic fields of the rectangular waveguide TE/sub 10/ mode into the coplanar waveguide (CPW) fields.

Quality factor of a transmission line coupled coplanar waveguide resonator
We investigate analytically the coupling of a coplanar waveguide resonator to a coplanar waveguide feedline. Using a conformal mapping technique we obtain an expression for the characteristic mode impedances and coupling coefficients of an asymmetric ...
