Biodegradable block copolymers

Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, 2001
Recently, block copolymers have got tremendous impetus on the ongoing research in the area of drug delivery technology, due to their capability to provide a biomaterial having a broad range of amphiphilic characteristics, as well as targeting the drugs to specific site.

Copolymers at Interfaces

International Journal of Polymeric Materials, 2002
We discuss the adsorption of multiblock copolymers at the interface between two selective solvents of the constituent monomers. We consider two cases, namely when the blocks are regular, and when the copolymer is made of random sequences. In both cases, we discuss the various surface regimes, and we compare the properties of the layers.

Multiblock copolymers at interfaces

Il Nuovo Cimento D, 1994
We consider the configurations and the various regimes when an alternating, symmetric, multiblock copolymer made of successive sequences of A and B monomers with equal lengthZ is at the interface between two immiscible solvents that are respectively good for one of the sequences and poor for the other one.

On the physics of block copolymers

Polymer International, 2006
AbstractThis article highlights some original block copolymer properties that have been studied in recent years at the Physico‐Chemistry group at the LCPO, giving our view on the physics of block copolymers in solutions (disordered state and self‐assembly) and in the bulk (nano‐organized films).

Block copolymer synthesis

Current Opinion in Solid State and Materials Science, 1999
The efficient synthesis of structurally well-defined block copolymers is exciting and important area of research. This article describes several methods for the preparation of di- and triblock copolymers. Examples are taken from the literature and include anionic, cationic, free-radical and metal-catalyzed polymerizations that are useful for the ...
