Biomimetic Iridescent Skin: Robust Prototissues Spontaneously Assembled from Photonic Protocells
Uniform nanoparticles are induced to form arrays (photonic crystals) in the cores of biopolymer capsules, endowing these ‘protocells’ with structural color. These protocells are then assembled into large self‐standing objects, i.e., prototissues, with robust mechanical properties as well as iridescent optical properties.

On the critical curves of the Pinning and Copolymer models in Correlated Gaussian environment [PDF]
We investigate the disordered copolymer and pinning models, in the case of a correlated Gaussian environment with summable correlations, and when the return distribution of the underlying renewal process has a polynomial tail.

Macroporous copolymer networks
Macroporous copolymer networks form as a result of the phase separation during the free-radical crosslinking copolymerization of vinyl and divinyl monomers in the presence of an inert diluent. In this article, the develop- ments achieved in the field of macroporous networks over the last few years are presented.

Backbone Heterojunction Photocatalysts for Efficient Sacrificial Hydrogen Production
Herein, a ‘single‐component’ organic semiconductor photocatalyst is presented in which a molecular donor is bonded to a polymer acceptor. The resultant material demonstrates exceptional photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution in aqueous triethylamine with an outstanding external quantum efficiency of 38% at 420 nm.

Cross-linking of Polystyrene by Friedel–Crafts Chemistry to Improve Thermal Stability [PDF]
Copolymers which contain either alcohol or chloride functionalized polystyrene units have been prepared and they participate in Friedel–Crafts chemistry to give cross-linked polymers by the evolution of either hydrogen chloride or water.

Effect of polymer concentration and length of hydrophobic end block on the unimer-micelle transition broadness in amphiphilic ABA symmetric triblock copolymer solutions [PDF]
The effects of the length of each hydrophobic end block N_{st} and polymer concentration \bar{\phi}_{P} on the transition broadness in amphiphilic ABA symmetric triblock copolymer solutions are studied using the self-consistent field lattice model.

A scalable one‐step copolymerization strategy is developed to produce low‐cost microporous ion exchange membranes that boost both the efficiency and lifespan of flow batteries. When combined with organic electrolytes in aqueous systems, these membranes enable safe and cheap flow battery energy storage, supporting the widespread integration of renewable
