Alternating copolyesteramides based on mixtures of 1,4-butyleneterephthalamide and -isophthalamide and ethanediol (4NT/I2) [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
Alternating copolyesteramides (APEA's) consisting of mixtures of 1,4-butyleneterephthalamide ester (N,N′-bis(p-carbomethoxybenzoyl) diaminobutane) and 1,4-butyleneisophthalamide ester (N,N′-bis(m-carbomethoxybenzoyl) diaminobutane) polymerized with ...

Evaluation of some physical properties of the copolymerized temporary crown and bridge auto–cured acrylic resin (Reinforcement) [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Dental Journal, 2007
Aims: To evaluate some of the physical properties which are transverse strength, tensile strength, surface hardness, water sorption and solubility of the auto–cured acrylic resin when copolymerized with epoxy resin at two different ratios 10% and 20 ...

Homochiral oligopeptides by chiral amplification: Interpretation of experimental data with a copolymerization model

open access: yes, 2012
We present a differential rate equation model of chiral polymerization based on a simple copolymerization scheme in which the enantiomers are added to, or removed from, the homochiral or heterochiral chains (reversible stepwise isodesmic growth or ...

Synthesis and characterization of polymeric linseed oil grafted methyl methacrylate or styrene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Syntheses of wholly natural polymeric linseed oil (PLO) containing peroxide groups have been reported. Peroxidation, epoxidation and/or perepoxidation reactions of linseed oil, either under air or under oxygen flow at room temperature, resulted in ...

Comparison of Ethylene/1-Hexene Copolymers Microstructures Synthesized by Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Metallocene Catalysts [PDF]

open access: yesعلوم و تکنولوژی پلیمر, 2013
The substituted (bis-2-PhIndZrCl2) and non-substituted (bis-IndZrCl2) indenylbased metallocene catalysts were synthesized and used in homogenous and heterogeneous forms for copolymerization of ethylene and 1-hexene.

Synergistic Effects of Functional CNTs and h-BN on Enhanced Thermal Conductivity of Epoxy/Cyanate Matrix Composites

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2018
Epoxy/cyanate resin matrix composites (AG80/CE) with improved thermal conductivity and mechanical properties were obtained with synergetic enhancement with functional carbon nanotubes (f-CNTs) and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN).

Bio‐Inspired Molecular Events in Poly(Ionic Liquids)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Originating from dipolar and polar inter‐ and intra‐chain interactions of the building blocks, the topologies and morphologies of poly(ionic liquids) (PIL) govern their nano‐ and micro‐processibility. Modulating the interactions of cation‐anion pairs with aliphatic dipolar components enables the tunability of properties, facilitated by “bottom‐up ...

Self-Organization at the Nanoscale Scale in Far-From-Equilibrium Surface Reactions and Copolymerizations

open access: yes, 2012
An overview is given of theoretical progress on self-organization at the nanoscale in reactive systems of heterogeneous catalysis observed by field emission microscopy techniques and at the molecular scale in copolymerization processes.

Deciphering Small Molecule Diffusion Parameters Across Light Responsive Polymersome Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Light‐responsive polymersomes bearing donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASAs) enable programmable control over small‐molecule transport across synthetic membranes. By systematically varying DASA density, an optimal functionalization regime is identified that maximizes light‐gated permeability.
