Single particle lifetime in copper
Journal of Physics F: Metal Physics, 1980The lifetimes and energies of the electronic excitations have been calculated in copper, using the standard augmented plane wave (APW) basis. The results show that the inverse lifetimes are slightly band-dependent and follow practically a parabola in the full energy range the author studied.

Specific heat of fine copper particles
Nanostructured Materials, 1995The specific heats of bulk Cu, CuO powder, and fine Cu particles with average particle sizes around 500 A were investigated for temperatures between 1 and 20 K, and 300 and 800 K. For temperatures below roughly 20 K, a quadratic temperature term of specific heat bT2 was observed in fine Cu particles, but not in bulk Cu and CuO powder.

Particle size distribution of copper powder
