Dielectric properties of CaCu3Ti4O12 based multiphased ceramics [PDF]
A “soft chemistry” method, the coprecipitation, has been used to synthesize the perovskite CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCT). Three main types of materials were obtained for both powders and sintered ceramics: a monophased consisting of the pure CCT phase, a biphased ...

Encapsulation of human serum albumin in submicrometer magnetic poly(lactide-co-glycolide) particles as a model system for targeted drug delivery [PDF]
Two types of iron oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by coprecipitation of Fe(II) and Fe(III) chlorides: water-dispersible γ-Fe2O3 and organic solvent-dispersible oleic acid-coated Fe3O4 particles.

Co-doped Ni(OH)2 Ultrafine Particles with High Supercapacitor Performance
Ni(OH)2 and Co-doped Ni(OH)2 ultrafine particles were synthesized by coprecipitation method. When the molar ratio of Ni2+:Co2+ in the precursor solution was 5:1, the resulted Co-doped Ni(OH)2 ultrafine particles displayed a high specific capacitance of ...

Effects of Lithium Source and Content on the Properties of Li-Rich Layered Oxide Cathode Materials
Lithium-rich layered oxide (LLO) are considered high-capacity cathode materials for next-generation lithium-ion batteries. In this study, LLO cathode materials were synthesized via the hydroxide coprecipitation method followed by a two-step lithiation ...

Potential Impacts of Tailings and Tailings Cover Fertilization on Arsenic Mobility in Surface and Ground Waters [PDF]
A number of mining sites worldwide, particularly gold mines, have tailings management facilities (TMFs) that contain high levels of arsenic. Current closed mine site regulatory agencies tend to prefer revegetation of TMFs as part of the mandated ...

Stability of nifedipine-polyvinylpyrrolidone coprecipitate.
The chemical and physicochemical stability of nifedipine in nifedipine-polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) coprecipitate systems was studied. It was found that nifedipine in the coprecipitate systems was chemically stable to heat and humidity. Storage of the coprecipitate systems under humid conditions was found to influence the dissolution behavior.
