A time-dependent, two-step binding mode of the nitro dye flavianic acid to trypsin in acid media

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2001
Synthetic dyes bind to proteins causing selective coprecipitation of the complexes in acid aqueous solution by a process of reversible denaturation that can be used as an alternative method for protein fractionation.

Thermochemistry of iron manganese oxide spinels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Oxide melt solution calorimetry has been performed on iron manganese oxide spinels prepared at high temperature. The enthalpy of formation of (MnxFe1−x)3O4 at 298 K from the oxides, tetragonal Mn3O4 (hausmannite) and cubic Fe3O4 (magnetite), is negative ...

Coprecipitation of phosphate with calcite.

open access: yesGEOCHEMICAL JOURNAL, 1981
The mechanism of phosphate coprecipitation with calcite is proposed on the basis of homogeneous distribution of phosphate in the crystal at 20°C and pH 7.9-9.5. At a constant pH, phosphate content of calcite is proportional to total phosphate concentration in aqueous solution.

Ultrasound–Calcination Synergistic Control of (Ce, La)PO4 Catalyst Structure for Enhanced Low‐Temperature NH3‐SCR Performance

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, (Ce, La)PO4 catalysts were synthesized via an ultrasound‐assisted method. The effects of ultrasound duration and calcination temperature on the low‐temperature NH3‐SCR performance were systematically investigated. The results indicated that the (Ce, La)PO4 catalyst prepared with an ultrasound treatment time of 20 min and a ...

Enhanced Rheological and Filtration Performance of Drilling Fluids Using Fe3O4/Saponin/Cu(II) Nanocomposites: Synthesis, Characterization, and Application

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Drilling fluids used in high‐performance well operations often struggle to maintain rheological stability, colloidal dispersion, and filtration control under harsh downhole conditions. This study engineered a multifunctional Fe3O4@Saponin/Cu(II) nanocomposite to address these challenges.
