In estimating the two-dimensional (2D) direction-of-arrival (DOA) using a coprime planar array, the main issues are the high complexity of spectral peak search and the limited degree of freedom imposed by the number of sensors.

The fundamental group of the complement of a generic fiber‐type curve
Abstract In this paper, we describe and characterize the fundamental group of the complement of generic fiber‐type curves, that is, unions of (the closure of) finitely many generic fibers of a component‐free pencil F=[f:g]:CP2⤍CP1$F=[f:g]:\mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^2\dashrightarrow \mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^1$.

Presentations of the braid group of the complex reflection group G(d,d,n)$G(d,d,n)$
Abstract We show that the braid group associated to the complex reflection group G(d,d,n)$G(d,d,n)$ is an index d$d$ subgroup of the braid group of the orbifold quotient of the complex numbers by a cyclic group of order d$d$. We also give a compatible presentation of G(d,d,n)$G(d,d,n)$ and its braid group for each tagged triangulation of the disk with ...

An Improved Unfolded Coprime Linear Array Design for DOA Estimation with No Phase Ambiguity
In this paper, the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation problem for the unfolded coprime linear array (UCLA) is researched. Existing common stacking subarray-based methods for the coprime array are invalid in the case of its subarrays, which have the ...

Noncommutative polygonal cluster algebras
Abstract We define a new family of noncommutative generalizations of cluster algebras called polygonal cluster algebras. These algebras generalize the noncommutative surfaces of Berenstein–Retakh, and are inspired by the emerging theory of Θ$\Theta$‐positivity for the groups Spin(p,q)$\mathrm{Spin}(p,q)$.

Moments of L$L$‐functions via a relative trace formula
Abstract We prove an asymptotic formula for the second moment of the GL(n)×GL(n−1)$\mathrm{GL}(n)\times \mathrm{GL}(n-1)$ Rankin–Selberg central L$L$‐values L(1/2,Π⊗π)$L(1/2,\Pi \otimes \pi)$, where π$\pi$ is a fixed cuspidal representation of GL(n−1)$\mathrm{GL}(n-1)$ that is tempered and unramified at every place, while Π$\Pi$ varies over a family of

A Novel Noncircular MUSIC Algorithm Based on the Concept of the Difference and Sum Coarray
In this paper, we propose a vectorized noncircular MUSIC (VNCM) algorithm based on the concept of the coarray, which can construct the difference and sum (diff–sum) coarray, for direction finding of the noncircular (NC) quasi-stationary sources ...

Simplification of exponential factors of irregular connections on P1${\mathbb {P}}^1$
Abstract We give an explicit algorithm to reduce the ramification order of any exponential factor of an irregular connection on P1$\mathbb {P}^1$, using the same types of basic operations as in the Katz–Deligne–Arinkin algorithm for rigid irregular connections.

Novel coprime MIMO configurations for DOA estimation with increased degrees of freedom
In this work, we propose some coprime multiple input multiple output (MIMO) configurations for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation, which achieve more degrees of freedom (DOF) than all the existing coprime MIMO configurations. We know that in a coprime

Fusion systems related to polynomial representations of SL2(q)$\operatorname{SL}_2(q)$
Abstract Let q$q$ be a power of a fixed prime p$p$. We classify up to isomorphism all simple saturated fusion systems on a certain class of p$p$‐groups constructed from the polynomial representations of SL2(q)$\operatorname{SL}_2(q)$, which includes the Sylow p$p$‐subgroups of GL3(q)$\mathrm{GL}_3(q)$ and Sp4(q)$\mathrm{Sp}_4(q)$ as special cases.
