Sparse Array Signal Processing: New Array Geometries, Parameter Estimation, and Theoretical Analysis [PDF]
Array signal processing focuses on an array of sensors receiving the incoming waveforms in the environment, from which source information, such as directions of arrival (DOA), signal power, amplitude, polarization, and velocity, can be estimated.

Tensor-based approach to the co-prime planar array signal processing
For the co-prime planar array (CPPA) consisting of two sparse uniform rectangular array (URA),a new processing method based on tensor algebra was proposed to enhance the degrees of freedom (DoF).By dividing each URA into some overlapping subarrays, the ...

Coprime Sensing via Chinese Remaindering Over Quadratic Fields—Part I: Array Designs [PDF]
A coprime antenna array consists of two or more sparse subarrays featuring enhanced degrees of freedom (DOF) and reduced mutual coupling. This paper introduces a new class of planar coprime arrays, based on the theory of ideal lattices.

Integrated optical phased arrays are emerging as scalable engines for solid‐state beam steering and programmable wavefront control. This Review maps the field from beam‐steering principles and core building blocks to material platforms, system‐level bottlenecks, and application frontiers, highlighting how heterogeneous integration, aperiodic ...

Moiré Folded Helical States at the Interfaces of Heterostructures
This manuscript explores a minimal ladder model of a graphene‐topological‐insulator heterostructure where moiré superlattices modulate Rashba spin‐orbit coupling. The study reveals that SOC lifs spin degeneracy, halves spectral periodicity, and induces “helicity fragmentation” across moiré minibands.

ABSTRACT This work addresses the challenge of bidirectional trajectory tracking in solar‐powered wheeled mobile robots (WMRs), considering the mechanical structure, actuator‐driver, and power stage subsystems. Notably, this is the first study to explicitly model and control the actuator‐driver subsystem within this context. The proposed solution relies

Isotopy and equivalence of knots in 3‐manifolds
Abstract Two knots K$K$ and J$J$ in S3$S^3$ are isotopic if and only if they are related by an orientation‐preserving diffeomorphism of S3$S^3$. This claim follows from the fact that any orientation‐preserving self‐diffeomorphism of S3$S^3$ is isotopic to the identity. We show that this same idea applies to any prime oriented closed 3‐manifold.

The fundamental group of the complement of a generic fiber‐type curve
Abstract In this paper, we describe and characterize the fundamental group of the complement of generic fiber‐type curves, that is, unions of (the closure of) finitely many generic fibers of a component‐free pencil F=[f:g]:CP2⤍CP1$F=[f:g]:\mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^2\dashrightarrow \mathbb {C}\mathbb {P}^1$.
