Homotopy BV-algebra structure on the double cobar construction [PDF]
We show that the double cobar construction, $\Omega^2 C_*(X)$, of a simplicial set $X$ is a homotopy BV-algebra if $X$ is a double suspension, or if $X$ is 2-reduced and the coefficient ring contains the ring of rational numbers $\mathbb{Q}$. Indeed, the

Differential Geometry of the q-plane
Hopf algebra structure on the differential algebra of the extended $q$-plane is defined. An algebra of forms which is obtained from the generators of the extended $q$-plane is introduced and its Hopf algebra structure is given.Comment: 9 ...

In this paper we show that if $A$ is a Poisson algebra equipped with a set of maps $ ^{(i)}_\la:A \to A^{\otimes N}$ satisfying suitable conditions, then the images of the Casimir functions of $A$ under the maps $ ^{(i)}_\la$ (that we call "loop coproducts") are in involution.

Have the environmental benefits of insect farming been overstated? A critical review
ABSTRACT Insect farming is frequently promoted as a sustainable food solution, yet current evidence challenges many environmental benefits claimed by industry proponents. This review critically examines the scientific foundation for assessing the environmental impacts of insect farming in both human food and animal feed applications.

PolyLogTools — polylogs for the masses
We review the Hopf algebra of the multiple polylogarithms and the symbol map, as well as the construction of single valued multiple polylogarithms and discuss an algorithm for finding fibration bases.

Seeing Through the “FOG” of U.S. Feedstock Incentives for Transportation Fuels
ABSTRACT The demand for fats, oils, and greases (FOG) as biofuel feedstocks has increased in recent years. Further expansions will have uncertain, but potentially significant, effects on food prices, greenhouse gas emissions, and the U.S. farm economy. To address the market‐mediated effects of expanding FOG feedstock consumption, U.S.

Dehydrated cassava co-product in starting piglets feeding
Two experiments were carried out to determine the nutritional value of a dehydrated cassava co-product (DCC) and its effects on the performance and blood variables of piglets fed with different levels of DCC.

Modules Over Coproducts of Rings [PDF]
Let Ro be a skew field, or more generally, a finite product of full matrix rings over skew fields. Let (RX)XEA be a family of faithful Rorings (associative unitary rings containing RO) and let R denote the coproduct ("free product") of the RX as R0-rings. An easy way to obtain an R-module M is to choose for each X E A U {0} an Rx-module Mx, and put M =

Abstract Energy cane has emerged as a promising feedstock for biorefineries due to its high fiber yield and potential for diversified bioproducts. This study evaluated the fiber composition of 190 energy cane genotypes and assessed their theoretical potential for producing second‐generation (2G) ethanol, polyethylene, and xylitol.

Microbial Production of Malic Acid from Biofuel-Related Coproducts and Biomass
The dicarboxylic acid malic acid synthesized as part of the tricarboxylic acid cycle can be produced in excess by certain microorganisms. Although malic acid is produced industrially to a lesser extent than citric acid, malic acid has industrial ...
