Various unsymmetric bis(heteroaryl) selenides are synthesized by the rhodium‐catalyzed exchange reaction of heteroaryl fluorides and ethers with Se‐heteroaryl 1‐adamatanecarboselenoates. The synthetic method is applicable to a broad range of five‐ and six‐membered heteroaryl derivatives and provides compounds containing multiple heteroatoms.

Recent Advances in Mediator and Proton Relay Usage in Molecular Catalysis
The use of electron–proton transfer mediators, redox mediators, and proton relays in synergy with molecular catalysts in energy‐related small‐molecule and organic transformations is discussed, with a focus on recent advances. Linear free‐energy relationship and catalytic Tafel plots provide a systematic foundation for benchmarking these catalytic ...

Coproducts and the cd-Index [PDF]
Given that classes of posets, even well-behaved ones such as Eulerian posets, usually exhibit complex if not confusing behavior when it comes to the computation of interesting invariants for these classes and the posets they contain, it is always of interest when improved interpretation in a suitable setting leads to an extension of technique whence ...

The monomial basis and the $Q$-basis of the Hopf algebra of parking functions
Consider the vector space $\mathbb{K}\mathcal{P}$ spanned by parking functions. By representing parking functions as labeled digraphs, Hivert, Novelli and Thibon constructed a cocommutative Hopf algebra PQSym$^{*}$ on $\mathbb{K}\mathcal{P}$. The product

Microorganisms generate versatile biosurfactants with a wide range of uses. Although cost issues still exist, industrial interest is growing because to the advantages of sustainability, which are enhanced by genetic engineering; life cycle evaluation is crucial for scalable, environmentally responsible production.

Barium‐Catalyzed Dehydrocoupling of Terminal Alkynes and Hydrosilanes
A combined experimental, kinetic, and theoretical investigation reveals that molecular barium catalysts mediate competently the controlled dehydrocoupling of terminal alkynes and hydrosilanes for the production of alkynylsilanes. The dehydrocoupling of terminal alkynes and hydrosilanes catalyzed by alkaline‐earth complexes: calcium, strontium and, most

Covers of Finitely Generated Acts over Monoids
This paper attempts to initiate the study of covers of finitely generated S-acts over monoids. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for a monoid to ensure that n-generated S-acts have strongly flat covers, Condition (P) covers, and projective ...

Water Relationships of Whey Permeate Powders
ABSTRACT Water relationships are developed for whey protein permeate powders based on an analysis of the composition, structural organization, and thermal properties of three commercial whey permeate powders (WPPs). On the basis of microscopic analysis, a two‐phase model of permeate powders with two types of particle morphologies is proposed: (1 ...
