Underestimation of Stent Efficacy: Untreated Artery Events Distort Coronary Intervention Outcomes

This prospective study evaluated 562 patients with stable coronary disease undergoing PCI. It was observed that 55.8% of events occurred in the treated vessel and 44.2% in untreated vessels. There was no significant difference between bare‐metal and drug‐eluting stents.
