In order to ensure the best possible translation of the CORE-OM, in both the cultural and linguistic sense, it is necessary to follow a very specific and strict procedure. In our first encounter with the CORE-OM, we applied a standard procedure of translation followed by back-translation, which resulted in an initial, unauthorised translation.
