Pathology Reporting of Thyroid Core Needle Biopsy: A Proposal of the Korean Endocrine Pathology Thyroid Core Needle Biopsy Study Group [PDF]
In recent years throughout Korea, the use of ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy (CNB) has become common for the preoperative diagnosis of thyroid nodules. However, there is no consensus on the pathology reporting system for thyroid CNB.

Comparison of Thyroid Fine-Needle Aspiration and Core Needle Biopsy [PDF]
We compared the adequacy and accuracy of fineneedle aspiration (FNA) with core needle aspiration in a total of 377 patients who underwent both tests. The adequacy rate for core needle biopsy (82.2%) was significantly higher than that of FNA (70.3%; P < .001), but the combined adequacy was significantly higher than that for either test alone (88.9%; P <

This study exploits the plasticity of ASCs‐derived cartilage organoids which generate a perichondrial layer of MSCs when exposed to cyclic chondrogenic/proliferative cues. Using these organoids as building blocks, we develop (i) Phalange Shaped Tissue Engineered Cartilage (Pa‐TECs), recapitulating endochondral ossification suitable for the treatment of

A Microfluidic Multiplex Sorter for Strain Development
A new multiplex method for high‐throughput screening of yeast strains based on glucoamylase production is presented. Droplets containing single mutant yeast cells are incubated for enzyme production. A sorting platform divides mutants by their high‐ and mid‐activity levels.
