CORM TREATMENTS FOR THE CONTROL OF CURVULARIA CORM ROT OF GLADIOLUS IN CANADA

Eight fungicidal preparations were tested as pre-planting corm treatments for the control of Curvularia rot of gladiolus corms in artificially infested field plots at Ottawa in 1957 and 1958. The thiram preparations Delsan A-D, Arasan SF-M, and Arasan SF-X applied as dusts gave the best control of the disease.
